I went to grad school with Paty and Greg. They moved to Chicago a little over a year ago...maybe longer. So I was happy to hear that Paty was coming to LA for a visit. She was able to make some time for a quick hike. We went to Runyon Canyon (RC) this morning. RC allows dogs to be off leash, as you can imagine, it's packed with pups. In a city where most people live in apartments, it's nice to know that there's outdoor space for pets. When we got to the top we were greeted by this little dog, and he was digging in the water bowl for water even though it was already full. He was so cute.It was a nice hike and a great time to catch up with each other. I wish she lived in LA, because then we could hike everyday.
My thoughts are with Paty, her aunt and her family. :)
