I rode up and into Franklin Canyon and then I was crazy enough to hike the Hastain trail. It was freaking hot today, but I did it! Now my legs are tired.
I wanted to get off the bike and mix it up a little. I went to the Hollywood Bowl to hike the steps. Whew! what a workout.

Heath came back into town. We went to Barney's Beanery to catch the Miami game where Nick Lachey joined us. JK. He's the blurry one. hahaha The other pic was taken up on Sunset Blvd, these lights are finally going in. I love walking around my neighborhood.

I decided that I would work today, since most people don't work today. It was very productive with my website. This is a picture of those once beautiful flowers in the Santa Monica mountains. I guess this means fall is on it's way.
Sorry I'm not home right now
I'm walking into spiderwebs
So leave a message
And I'll call you back
A likely story, but leave a message
And I'll call you back
I went for a hike in Franklin Canyon and there was one are covered with spiderwebs.

Today was a full day of events. Ken and I went for a hike in Will Rogers State Park followed by a quick trip to the Getty Villa. We then drove along the coast on the PCH to Malibu for the Madden 10 launch party. It was the 1st annual Pro-am flag foot ball game. It was absolutely amazing. With my love of sports (esp NFL) I was in heaven! With talent such as John Elway (yes, John freaking Elway), Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Deion Sanders, Marshall Faulk, Junior Seau, Barry Sanders, Marcus Allen, Tony Gonazales, Damarcus Ware, Larry Fitzgerald, Willie Parker, it was amazing to watch them play football.
The celebrities on the roster were Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, Brody Jenner, Sam Trammell, Jason Patrick, Josh Henderson, Adrian Pasdar, Kelly Rowland, Maria Menenous, Brooke Burke, Alison Sweeney, Jesse McCartney, Donald Faison, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (yes, ZACH freaking MORRIS)
Rich Eisner & Rod Woodson commentated. It will air on ESPN2 on Aug 14.

The above picture is not one that Ken or I took. It's from Brooke Burke's collection, but it's a great pic of Elway. ;)
Thanks to Ken for taking all of these pix, my camera and cell were both dead. :(
That's me in the reflection of the stream. :)
It was a nice hike and a great time to catch up with each other. I wish she lived in LA, because then we could hike everyday.
My thoughts are with Paty, her aunt and her family. :)

I don't know why digital cameras don't charge the same way cell phones do. I forgot to grab my battery from the charger this morning. So this pic was taken with my cell phone. :(
This is a beautiful trail in Topanga State Park. Adrian, Sandy, Fish, Amery, Jacob and myself woke up early this morning to go for a quick hike.
After we had bagels in the Pacific Palisades and ran into Chris Rock. Amery was trying to tell us that it was him, but Amery is usually bullsh***ing. He's the boy who cried wolf, so most of us did not believe him. hahaha
UPDATE: I wanted to add this, but thought some might find it unsettling...for those of you who are devoted readers, if you find this...it's like a hidden easter egg. :)
