This morning my friend, Vanessa, ran the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, CA. It was a beautiful morning to spend next to the beach. Vanessa was awesome. We saw her at mile 20 and Amery ran the last 6.2 miles with her. Amery looked worse than Vanessa at the end. hahaha Afterward we enjoyed a cold beer and welcomed her into the Marathoners' club. Congratulations Vanessa!!! You've inspired me to do it again!

This blog is an inspiration. I'm loving it! I hadn't checked it since I got to Grenada but just ran through all of your pictures (and I love that you started with the inaugaration). Here on the island we as Americans were congratulated for electing Obama and it was truly a nice feeling to be proud of my country! I'll keep looking, you keep posting.
